LTO transfer of ownership: what happens after you buy

Every sale at Big Z Cars includes the transfer of ownership. Here is what happens behind the scenes.

The documents

The notarized Deed of Sale, the original OR/CR, your two valid IDs and TIN, plus the PNP-HPG Motor Vehicle Clearance Certificate.

The timeline

Transfer typically completes within a few weeks depending on LTO volume. You drive the car immediately — we follow through on the paperwork and hand you the new CR when released.

Why it matters

Until the transfer completes, the previous owner legally stays on record. That is why we process it for every unit — no exceptions.
